about
So, I haven't actually been stuck in a house for a long time. This is hour 14 of this inside journey. Im a person that can't really pause and rest. I always have to do something. Workout, play music, meditate, study, hang out, read things. But now I am kind of forced to stay inside. I just came from New Orleans. And the new regulations they just released requires anyone entering New York to quarantine for 14 days, but if I take two tests and if both are negative I can leave quarantine on day 4. So far 1st is negative. Im totally fine. No symptoms at all. So this next one I take in a few days will surely be negative then i can leave.
Well, come dive into my world, in my room, yet in another galaxy as I imagine it. Some far distant star, where anything you imagine comes true. We have all we need right inside of us. No need to look outward. Today marks a first day in a long time, that I am actually doing something for myself. We all do things, but you have to question, why your doing it. Is it for money, attention, some goal to get stronger, some possibility of being loved? I realized that I tend to meditate or workout, so I can get better, but for the purpose of getting something. Being stronger so that I can work harder, make more money, look better for people. Or I meditate so that I can better myself for improving myself to acquire better outcomes in my future. So basically, I'm doing all these things in hope of getting something outside of myself. But when have I ever just done something for me, out of curiosity, not to get better or acquire something?
Take care of yourself, use the abilities you have for you. Dance for you, play music for you, meditate for you. Give yourself your talents and abilities. Don't sell them in hopes of the American dream, to get rich or be loved.
You have everything you need to give yourself in you. Why buy love when you have it in you already? Why go out and search for bonds when there are bonds waiting to be explored right in front of you. So take care of yourself today. Instead of working hard to cook at a restaurant for strangers, why not cook for yourself at home with your family and friends. Yes maybe you won't receive money, but you will receive the exact thing you've been looking for, Happyness.
Enjoy my first Quarantine song.....
